Hello Lamppost

Today, I was lectured by some stranger at Shoppers while I was walking around, waiting to fill my presciption. This older lady basically yelled at me for walking around with my hands in my pockets (I think she said "For God's sake! Get your hands out of your pockets!"). She then continued on to tell me how people started to put their hands in their pockets because they wore their pants too low - their hands were in their pockets essentially to keep the pants up.

I was surprised by her outrage, to say the least, and pulled my hands out of my pockets until I ducked into the next aisle and resumed my previous posture. But guys do it when they're posing in suits, and Napoleon stuck his hand in his vest all the time...why can't I put my hands in my pockets?
